Madden NFL 27 Launches Worldwide

EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 launched worldwide on August 13, 2026. The console and PC release is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

Launch highlights

Madden NFL 27 adds a new Persona Engine to Franchise, where player motivations and reactions shape negotiations, player development, and league stories. EA says the system includes more than 65 Persona DNA types.

On the field, the release introduces new WR/DB interactions, timing-based catching, dynamic weather and field conditions, custom pre-play adjustments, and rebuilt short-yardage gameplay with the QB Sneak Meter and Tush Push.

Superstar adds the G.O.A.T. Career Journey, deeper position-based Skill Trees, and playable tight end, edge rusher, and free safety roles. Madden Ultimate Team adds Evos, Ultimate Captains, and a new Upgrade System.
