The three-day window also applies to Nintendo Switch 2, while the seven-day MVP+ access is limited to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. EA Play's ten-hour trial covers PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Times above come from the official EA launch guide.
Platforms and launch services
The game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through the EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store. There are no announced PS4 or Xbox One editions.
Team Builder is available for Madden NFL 27. The Madden Companion App has a separate target date of August 24; it did not launch with seven-day early access. Check EA service notices if either feature is unavailable.
What changed after the beta
EA says launch updates cover Gameplay, Franchise, Presentation, Audio and Ultimate Team feedback. Franchise free agency now exposes contract structure, pending offers, cap holds and round-by-round decisions. Superstar progression can reach 99 OVR through gameplay; optional purchases are not required to complete the career path.
For the safest setup, install the latest update and confirm that the correct EA Account is linked to the platform account you use.
