Madden NFL 27 MCS Schedule & Prize Pool

The Madden NFL 27 Championship Series, or MCS 27, introduces an eight-player Pro League, three Open Qualifiers, four routes into the Madden Bowl, and $750,000 in total prizes. EA’s twelfth MCS season begins with open competition on August 22, 2026 and ends at the Madden Bowl in February 2027.

Four Paths to the Madden Bowl

The 14-player championship field is assembled through four qualification routes:

1. Pro League: The top four players in the Pro League Playoffs qualify and receive Madden Bowl seeds 1–4.
2. Open Qualifiers: Each of the three winners receives one direct Madden Bowl place.
3. MCS Points: The six highest-ranked, not-yet-qualified players after the final Open Qualifier receive invitations.
4. Last Chance Qualifier: The LCQ winner earns the fourteenth and final place.

Pro League Qualifier Schedule

The online qualifier is open to eligible players who were not already invited. After four days of ladder play, the top 256 move into a double-elimination bracket, where the final four earn Pro League places.

MCS Pro League Schedule

Four invitees from MCS 26 join four qualifier winners in a single round-robin season. EA lists a $200,000 Pro League prize pool, including 28 match-win prizes of $1,000 each.

Open Qualifier Dates

Each Open Qualifier carries a $50,000 prize pool, awards one direct Madden Bowl place, and grants MCS Points according to placement. The final two competitors in each event travel to Full Sail University for the broadcast final.

MCS Points come only from the three Open Qualifiers. The final points leaderboard locks after the December 15 Zero Chill final.

Last Chance Qualifier and Madden Bowl

The Madden Bowl is a 14-player, single-elimination championship at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. Its $400,000 prize pool completes the announced $750,000 season total.

How to Compete and Watch

Registration is open through MaddenChampionship.com. Before entering, review the current eligibility and competition rules because EA may update event requirements.

Competitors who play at least one game in an eligible MCS 27 event can earn one MUT Pack for that event, up to five MUT Packs across the season. Reward instructions are sent to a player's Challengermode inbox after each event.

EA also plans Twitch Drops for MCS broadcasts. Eligible broadcasts, watch-time requirements, and the available rewards will be announced before the relevant broadcast. Link your EA Account and Twitch account before watching so eligible drops can be delivered to the right account.
